Critical care is a highly specialized unit with specialized staff and lifesaving equipment for the continuous care of critically ill, injured, and postoperative patients. The Critical Care Unit at Shri Sanjeevini Multispecialty Hospital is 10 bedded state-of-the-art multidisciplinary center where Medical, Neurology, Oncology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Surgical, and Trauma Patients are in proportion to the inpatient beds of 40 and are managed round the clock (24X7).
Critical care encompasses the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Isolation, and High Dependency unit with ventilatory support that delivers care to patients with complex and potentially life-threatening conditions.
Our critical care units are ably supported by diagnostic and imaging units (CT, MRI, Doppler). Consultants and surgeons representing all major disciplines including neurologists, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, and hematologists are available to offer specialist technical advice to the unit.
The team with high expertise treats patients with the most complex health needs with the help of physiotherapists, nutritionists, pharmacists, and social workers. Regular counseling sessions are conducted with patient relatives to update the patient’s health condition and to give psychological and social support.
